Recon Hosting Management would like to inform you of an upcoming change to our Teamspeak 3 hosting services. We are starting to move over to a completely new Linux based hosting environment utilizing TCAdmin to control all aspects of your Teamspeak 3 servers. Since we are moving away from the custom control panel you currently are using , the databases are not compatible. Therefore, we cannot move your individual servers to the new hosting environment. What this means for you, our customer is that your server will still remain online; however, there are far more advantages to moving to the new TCAdmin controlled server. Teamspeak 3 is working hand in hand with TCAdmin, you will receive the latest updates before most others would. Another advantage will be that more options are available for controlling your Teamspeak 3 server as a result. With integrations such as integrated banners from gametracker.com and more in development.
Your current server will not be taken off line; however, we will not be setting up any additional servers on those machines. This also means that we will not be allowing any slot count upgrades on these servers as well. This will move all of our servers to Linux which will help us better server you as your hosting provider. This will also help us in mitigating possible abuse of the servers by limiting the ability of DDoS attacks and other forms of abuse. By utilizing TCAdmin we will be in a better situation to manage your account and let you manage your Teamspeak 3 server.
Ultimately, going forward by moving your services, we will deliver the excellent product and our dedicated staff will make this a seamless transition for you.
